Hey Fiberista! Welcome to my channel UGZ*TV. I make videos for creative knitters, weavers, spinners and crocheted who love using color and texture in their work, helping them see themselves as fiber artists. I provide creative tips for integrating art journaling technique and inspirations into ideas for knitting, crochet, weaving and felting.

Weave-o-Rama: Designing ceramic hangers for art weaving
As a weaver, I daydream of yarn like this. I might need to learn to spin!🤩
😅
You are so talented❤
Love that art yarn ❤
Love the texture in your art weaving! Thanks!
Now I finally get it. I read their policies on their website and it's really controlling who they will allow people to buy and use their products. And how the brand name is going to be used. It's a shame that not everyone can do Saori, because not everyone is okay with cult-like controlling. I know I'm not okay with following a group blindly.
If you want to buy a Saori loom, you simply order and pay for one. No-one controls who can buy one, or how to use one. It is simply a two shaft loom, very well made and easy to store.
I had a Joy and LOVED IT. We retired to Az and I sold it. I don't kn̈ow what I was thinking. I miss it too much. It was truly a, Joy. To find a new one that I can afford has been next to impossible. If anyone out there wants to theirs let me know. 😢❤.
Subtitles are turned off for this video so I can't hear you. I am deaf.
You have some wonderful items and enjoy your art cafe journeys x
I enjoyed watching your daily art journal challenge videos. I took a few art studio courses in college 50 years ago (yes not a typo), but never learned how to use an art journal. Watching you play and try out your ideas, I am inspired to try my hand at one.
Going to miss your daily dive into the arts 😢
I like your whimsical ladies ❤ Thanks again Stacey 😊
I will be sad when the 30 day challenge ends because I love catching you live. I don’t always make it but I get so excited when I do :)
It has been so much fun hanging out with you guys journaling.
Awesome journals thanks Stacey ❤
Thank you!
Wow, you are a wonderful artist
Thank you!!!

Hey! Chilling out watching you work. So interesting! I didn't realize until recently you did other arts besides weaving, which is where I found you in the first place. I love your art journals!
Yes!! Was a graphic designer in a former life so sketchbooks and art journals have been a tool I use since college. Also make ceramics, but that is just my hobby I do for me.
Kinda a “technical” question - how do you protect your fibers from moths and other insects in open containers?
I keep sachets made with cedar lavender and orange peel through out the studio. Tucked into bins bags and shelves of fiber. Have not had issue (knocking on wood).
It's so useful to hear your thought process as you construct your pile of fiber. I love what you ended up with, can't wait to see the yarn!
Thanks so much!
I love your ideas you use for weaving & journalling...beautiful yarns, thanks Stacey ❤
You are so welcome!
That was cool, i love the way your express your memories into your journal. Thanks Stacey ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching
I love the drawing of the face of a woman. My question is what kind of pen were you using? You got both thick and thin lines out of it. Is it a paint pen?
Thanks Terri! I am using a pen tel brush pen. I think it is meant for Japanese calligraphy. I don’t see the pink barrel, but here is the basic black barrel version amzn.to/3Q8kKpo
Life is an experiment!
Indeed!
I like the greens together.
Just shared to Warrington in north west UK.
Hi there from France 🇫🇷 again.
Hello there!
I’m not sure but I believe she writes the pattern to be read from the bottom up. Not sure if that makes a difference though.
It is. Unfortunately I think began flipping the treadles.
Love your top!
Thank you!! It is a favorite dress I found on Poshmark. Johnny was is the brand. They alway have amazing embroidered details.
I'm sorry I missed the live, I had no notification. You are inspiring me to start a small journal. Thanks Jo in France 🇫🇷
How exciting!!! So glad you are journaling with me.
Hi again, Jo in France here. 🇫🇷 I like these short live shows. I have never kept an art journal, sketchbooks yes. Thanks.
I like them to. It is fun to connect with you guys live.
Sound is so much clearer now. Wish I could say the same for the weather. Happy journaling
Another great journalling sesh. I have missed the last 3, been helping hubby fix boundry fences because neighbours bulls were getting into our property. Anyway you have inspired me to open my art journals. I have been adding washi, stamps and bits of gelli prints. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers from Aotearoa New Zealand x
On my iPad, had to crank the volume all the way up and turn up my hearing aids. (My hearing loss isn’t that bad). You sound too far away and when you drop your voices volume at all you are unfortunately impossible to understand. There are parts where it is louder for awhile, are you turning your head away from where the mic is?
New mic arriving today. Unfortunately only had iPhone mic for last couple of days since old lavilier mic broke.
love this sweater. i want to make one too! thank u.
love what u are doing but cant hear u at all.
New mic arriving today. Unfortunately only had iPhone mic for last couple of days since old lavilier mic broke.
Oh nm, this is last night on replay hahaha!
Glad you got to catch the replay. Hope you can join us live!
Love the washi tape!🤟🏻
I have a small wash I tape addiction
Hi there, I started watching last night but fell asleep!
I am from Manitoba, Canada. Still have some snow 😊
I miss seeing snow! We do not get much here.
Please consider turning on the subtitles. I'm very hard of hearing and sound quality was very poor.
Will see if I can for live, but will definitely do so for the replays. Apologies for poor sound. Will improve once I can afford a better mic. Unfortunately it is the better of three sound options for this set up.
I love witnessing someone else's vision 😯the simple leaves are becomes something beautiful☺thank you for a relaxing space to have my coffee and enjoy Art
You are so welcome! Thanks for joining me.
Love this idea, I want to jump in! Some of my videos I've done with no talking too it works when Im sick or my family is loud lol. I've been thinking of doing a few warercolors of my habdwoven pieces, this would be a goos time for that. Love the colors you are using. Are you sharing in the FB group?
I have not been sharing. But I will. FB group will get a recharge at some point hopefully this year.
Good to see you again
Good to be back, thanks for finding me again.
Loved the rolag when it was finished!! Thanks for sharing your process loved to see it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, that was good to watch as always. I'm saving for a floor loom, so in the meantime i use a frame which is fine too & quite enjoyable. I also enjoy gel plate printing and follow Robyn McClendon who has a wonderful channel dedicated to gel printing, journaling & mixed media. I can't wait to see your beautiful creations and thanks for sharing with us. PS: your over dyes...wow just love the colours x
Robyn’s work is amazing! So inspiring for sure. I want to check out her book. I hope you can join me tonight for my Gelli plate printing party.
Hi, absolutely love you and your content. Excited for the art journaling , I wouldn't know where to begin but often find the documented process why more interesting than the finished piece. When you over dye how does it work so you still see the original colour underneath? Xxx
Usually when overdying, I lose the original coloring. However if I wanted to preserve some of it I would use a resist, either by tying shibori(tie dye style) or with a wax resist like a batik.
This was a nice visit! I’m enjoying seeing your pieces and your journals, I’m glad I ran across this new video this evening! The title is what grabbed my attention, “TINY!!!” fiber art collection. LoL! Up my alley! I love to weave tiny pieces… I make tiny fused glass frames and make tiny weavings in them… I love to do tiny silk weaving with the odds and ends of hand spun silk I make during random moments. I collect little toy looms and love trying them out with wee weaves…. someday maybe I’ll have a whole collection of them ready to put together a cohesive display but I’m too scattered with everything I do now. LOL! Thank you so much for being a major source of inspiration for me these past months!
Oooo! I bet these are little fiber treasures. I am with you they tiny is like a little art talisman that feels complete. I suppose they will let you know when it is time to be part of a bigger piece.
